What is a WSVE file?
A WSVE file is a video project format created by the Mac version of Wondershare Filmora, an application used to make personal videos. It contains a video project that supports audio tracks, and may also include transitions, filters, overlays, text, sound effects, and elements. WSVE files allow a project to be saved and modified at a later time.
More Information
While the Mac version of Filmora saves projects as WSVE files, the Windows version saves projects as .WVE files. However, with the release of Filmora9 in December 2018, Wondershare replaced WSVE and WVE files with the .WFP project format. Filmora9 and later versions still support the WSVE and WVE file types.
You can export WSVE projects to a variety of video formats, including .MOV, .MP4, .M4V, .MKV, .AVI, .F4V, .FLV, and .WMV. You can also share the video to YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, DVD, or various mobile devices.
NOTE: Wondershare Filmora was formerly known as Wondershare Video Editor.
