What is a VXN file?
A VXN file is an audio pack used by a Gameloft video game. It contains background music played in a game, split into loopable segments. This music is typically saved in the .WAV, .OGG, or .MPC format.
More Information
Several Gameloft video games, including Iron Man 3: The Official Game and Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden, store their soundtracks and related metadata in VXN files.
VXN is a proprietary format, used only by Gameloft video games. Each VXN file contains a single song, split into several sections. Games can load, play, and loop each section of a VXN file as needed.
NOTE: VXN files may also be referred to as VoxN files.
How to open a VXN file
You can use vgmstream (multiplatform) to play the song a VXN file contains. You can also use Foobar2000 (Windows) to play VXN files, after installing the vgmstream plug-in.
How to convert a VXN file
