What is a TEXTS file?
A TEXTS file contains text and binary data used to show in-game text in a Gameloft video game. Minion Rush and Sonic Runners Adventure are examples of games that use TEXTS files. TEXTS files are often accompanied by a file with the .keys extension, which is used to delineate where text strings start and stop in the TEXTS file.
More Information
Gameloft is a French video game publisher that was founded in 1999. Many of the publisher's recent mobile games use TEXTS files to store in-game text in a binary format. Some games use KEYS files to "read" this text, while translating it to show in-game. Others use markers included in the TEXTS file itself.
NOTE: Games developed using a variety of Gameloft development engines use TEXTS files.
How to open a TEXTS file
