What is an SKEIN file?
An SKEIN file is data file created by text adventure machines, such as Zoom, and Inform, an IDE for creating Interactive Fiction (IF) games. It contains a recording and transcript of the players' actions during the game in XML format. SKEIN files are saved by the user and sent to the author of the game as a bug report so the issue can be fixed.
