Game file created by SimCity 4, a simulation game where players build cities; stores the terrain, buildings, and roads for a new city that is developed by the player in the game; can be a small, medium, or large size city.

SC4 files can be ported to The Sims 2 and used as new neighborhoods. However, only small sized cities (i.e., not medium or large) can be used in The Sims 2. Additionally, there are some incompatibilities with the types of roads and buildings that can be imported.

NOTE: The ".sc4" extension stands for SuperCard 4. The .SC45 extension replaced the ".sc4" extension and is used by subsequent versions of the software.
