What is an MNV file?
Proprietary movie format used by the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) and the PlayStation Portable (PSP); may include copy protection that limits the systems the file can be played on may also include a start and expiration date that limits length of time in which the movie can be played (for online movie rentals).

MNV files may be downloaded from Sony's PLAYSTATION Store. They can only be played on a PlayStation 3 console or a Sony PSP.
