What is an MDEX file?
An MDEX file is a data exchange file used by MIRCaM, a system used to record and view electrocardiogram (ECG) data. It contains patient information such as names and ECGs recorded by a MIRCaM device. MDEX files are used to export and import data in the MIRCaM ECG Viewer application.
MIRCaM stands for Mobile Intelligent Remote Cardiac Monitor. It is designed to provide real time analysis of ECGs from patients. The technology generates warnings when cardiac arrhythmias, myocardial ischemia, and infarctions are detected. MIRCam consists of a device worn by the patient, a patient's bedside unit, the MIRCaM doctor's terminal and Windows and mobile applications.
