What is a GSC file?
File used by Call of Duty (CoD) games, including Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), MW3, MW4, and MW5; saved in a plain text format and may contain gameplay settings for maps, graphics, audio, and other gameplay properties often used for describing game maps.
GSC files are sometimes modified ("modded") by the game community to create custom content. However, this can result in banning from CoD servers if detected.

What is a GSC file?
A GSC file is a scene file used by a 3D Groove Engine video game. It contains binary data used to load a scene and included in-game objects. GSC files are comprised of compiled Lua scripts and a custom header.
The 3D Groove Engine was a game development engine created and licensed by The Groove Alliance. The Groove Alliance and other developers used the 3D Groove Engine to create many original and licensed games. For example, many games included in Nickelodeon's online NickArcade, which starred Nickelodeon cartoon characters, were developed using 3D Groove.
Many 3D Groove Engine games use scenes saved as GSC files. These games also use 3D models saved as .3GM files.
How to open a GSC file
GSC files are not meant to be opened outside the games in which they are used.
