.DWD File Extension

File created by DavkaWriter, an English and Hebrew word processor; supports a Hebrew keyboard, spell checker, Jewish calendar, and other features; contains formatted text, images, objects, fonts, etc.

To create a DWD file:

1. Open the DavkaWriter application, select File → Save As... or click the floppy disk save icon.
2. Choose the save location of your file and name it. The "Save as type" default creates the DWD file, click Save.

To open a newer DWD file on an older version of the DavkaWriter program:

1. Open the DavkaWriter program, select File → Export.
2. Select "DavkaWriter, Older Version" as the file type.
