What is a CME file?

A CME file contains video encrypted in the Command Multimedia Evidence (CME) format. It stores surveillance video exported by March Networks Command and is typically used by system administrators, security guards, and investigators.

CME files are encrypted in order to prevent video from being played by unauthorized users. The files can only be opened and viewed using Command Player.
