Raven Software Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a first- and third-person Star Wars game that revolves around a student training to be a Jedi. The game was originally released in 2003 but is now available to download from Steam for Windows and OS X.
The game can be played in single player or multiplayer modes. The single player mode revolves around a student named Jaden Korr that trains under Kyle Katarn and Luke Skywalker at the Jedi Academy. The game allows you to choose your character's species and gender to begin and as you complete missions you can choose your lightsaber type. The game also allows you to choose to follow the dark path to evil or light path to good as you progress through the game.
The multiplayer mode enables you to play against computer-controlled bots, or with other players online or via a LAN. You can choose to play as a custom avatar or as a character from the Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy games. The multiplayer mode features 6 different game types, including Capture the Flag, Siege, and Power Duel.
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy further expands the Star Wars universe while remaining faithful to the prominent themes of the series. It features an entertaining single player storyline, while also providing a fun multiplayer mode. Raven Software Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a rewarding game that even non-Star Wars gamers will enjoy.
