An SCW file may also be a 3D model format developed by Supercell for use in its mobile video games, such as Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. It stores binary data and may include an embedded animation or .PNG or .KTX texture for an object or character. SCW files are packaged with video games and are not meant to be opened; however, gamers may convert the files to another 3D format, modify them, and then repackage them for use in the game.

Supercell develops various video games, including Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Boom Beach, Hay Day, and Brawl Stars. These games use the SCW format to save many of their 3D models. However, the SCW format has multiple versions (older games use version 1, whereas more recent games use version 2).
Additionally, SCW files only store embedded animations for models in environments and objects. Animations in SCW files are not used for characters like textures are.
NOTE: More recent versions of Brawl Stars may also use .GLB files to store 3D models in addition to SCW files.
How to open an SCW file
SCW files are not meant to be opened. Instead, video games like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale reference the files when loading to insert 3D models. However, game modders may convert SCW files to other 3D formats, modify them with an app like Blender, and then repackage them with the game.
