Q: How do I bookmark FileInfo.com?

A: Bookmarking File Info allows you to access FileInfo.com with the click of a button, making it easy to look up unknown file types. Below are intructions on how to bookmark this website for different Web browsers and computer platforms.

Before completing the following, make sure the address field in your Web browser reads: "http://fileinfo.com/".

Windows

Internet Explorer

Press Control+D or click the star icon in the upper-right corner of the toolbar to open the Favorites list. Click Add to Favorites to add the page to your list of Favorites.

Chrome

Press Control+D or click the Controls icon (three horizontal bars) in the top-right corner of the toolbar. menu. You can then select Bookmarks → Bookmark this page to add the page to your bookmarks.

Firefox

Press Control+D or click the star icon in the upper-right corner of the toolbar to view the Bookmarks options. Click Bookmark this Page to add the page to your bookmarks.

Macintosh

Safari

Press Command+D or select Add Bookmark... from the Bookmarks menu. You may also drag the icon left of the Web address to the bookmark bar directly below the address field. This will add the bookmark to your bookmarks bar.

Firefox

Press Command+D or select Bookmark this Page... from the Bookmarks menu. You may also drag the icon left of the Web address to the bookmarks bar directly below the address field. This will add the bookmark to your bookmarks bar.

Chrome

Press Command+D or select Bookmark this Page... from the Bookmarks menu. This will add the bookmark, which you can view by pressing Command+Option+B or selecting Bookmarks → Bookmarks Manager.
