What is a WEAVELIBRARY file?
A WEAVELIBRARY file stores a collection of weaves created by Corel Painter, a drawing application used to create digital artwork. It contains various media weaves, which are textured patterns Painter users can add to the canvas. Examples of weaves users may find in WEAVELIBRARY files include Pastel Plaid, Checkerboard Diamonds, and Picnic weaves.

You can manage libraries of weaves through Painter's Weaves Library Panel. To access the Select Window → Media Panels → Weaves Library Panel. You can create new weaves, modify weaves, and import or export weave libraries in the panel.
NOTE: WEAVELIBRARY files are similar to .ABR files, which store brushes Photoshop users import or export to open or create brushes for the Photoshop application.
How to open a WEAVELIBRARY file
You can open a WEAVELIBRARY file with Corel Painter. For example, to import a WEAVELIBRARY file, select Window → Media Panels → Weaves Library Panel, then click the "Import Weave Library" icon.
