A VS file may also be a resource file used by Vivid 2.0, a customization application for Palm OS, which was an operating system widely used on early personal digital assistants (PDAs). It contains resources, such as icons, themes, or other visual assets, and settings that modify the appearance and functionality of a Palm OS interface.
More Information
Palm, Inc. developed the Palm OS operating system in the mid-1990s for personal digital assistants (PDAs). The Vivid software was designed to allow users to customize their PDA running Palm OS. For example, Vivid users could set their pictures as a screensaver on their devices.
While Palm OS was prominent in the early 2000s, the rise of smartphones with more advanced operating systems like iOS and Android eventually led to its decline. Utilities for the OS, including Vivid (and its proprietary files), soon became obsolete. Palm, Inc. officially discontinued Palm OS in 2009.
How to open a VS file
You should not attempt to open VS files. Instead, the Vivid software references VS files to load their resources and settings.
