What is a TSH file?
A TSH file is an audio file exported from older JNC digital recorder models, including the JNC Digital Recorder USB 250. It stores an audio recording, possibly from an interview, a lecture, or a meeting. Only the discontinued JNC Power Voice II supports TSH files in Windows.
More Information
Various JNC digital recorders used the TSH file type to store recorded audio in the 2000s, but JNC no longer exists. When recording audio with a compatible JNC digital recorder, the recorder saved audio in the TSH format.
To export the audio to a computer, users connected the recorder to their computer via a USB cable, transferred the TSH file(s), and then played the file(s) with JNC software packaged with their voice recorder purchase. Since JNC no longer produces digital recorders, the TSH file type has become obscure.
How to open a TSH file
You can only open TSH files with JNC Power Voice II in Windows. Unfortunately, JNC no longer develops the playback software.
If you have access to the software, you can still run it in Windows with the compatibility mode set to Windows 98 / Windows ME.
How to convert a TSH file
JNC Power Voice II can convert TSH files to .WAV audio files.
