Recovery volume created with RAR file compression and archiving software; contains redundancy data that can be used to reconstruct missing files within a RAR volume set; only used with multi-volume archives.

NOTE: If the number of REV files is less than the number of corrupt of missing volumes, the volume set cannot be reconstructed.
