A QBX file may also be a landing page file created by BLOCKS, a web program used to generate static websites. It contains the components of a BLOCKS webpage, which includes the header, content, and footer, styles, and fonts that appear on the page. QBX files store all of the components in plain text.
More Information
The QBX file allows you to export and import the page you created in the Blocks program. To export the file, click the disk icon on the left toolbar and select "EXPORT". This will begin an automatic download of the QBX file. To import the QBX file, click the disk icon on the left toolbar, select "IMPORT", and navigate to the location of the QBX file.
BLOCKS is available online and comes with a variety of features such as Google web fonts, style editors, templates and blocks, code editors, material design, and bootstrap components.
NOTE: Some browsers on Windows and all browsers in macOS (OS X) will not download the QBX file when you choose to export your landing page. Instead, a new browser window will open displaying the code. If this occurs, save the webpage displayed in the new window as an .HTML file and rename the extension to ".qbx".
