What is a PLTSUITE file?
Test file used by developers with the Safari Web browser; stores a list of URLs that can be used as test cases when rendering pages in the browser; commonly used by third-party developers for testing Safari extensions.

PLTSUITE files often reference local files rather than HTTP webpages so that the test can be more consistent and run without external Web dependencies. After a page load test is run in Safari, the browser reports how long the page took to load as well as a breakdown of how long each element in the page took to load.
NOTE: PLT is an acronym for Page Load Test, which is a testing concept used by the WebKit browser engine.
