A DPB file may also be a fax document created by Caere FaxMaster, a Windows faxing and OCR application. Since Caere discontinued FaxMaster in 1993, DPB files are now rare and obsolete.

More Information

FaxMaster is a server-based fax and OCR tool that allows users to scan printed material, typically paper documents, save them as images, and send them as faxes to fax machines worldwide. However, in 1993 Caere Corporation discontinued the FaxMaster software to focus on other OCR-related endeavors. Since its discontinuation, files related to FaxMaster, such as DPB and .INM files, have become antiquated.

How to open a DPB file

You can only open a DPB file with Caere FaxMaster, which is discontinued. There is no other known program that supports DPB files.
