What is a CATALOG file?
A CATALOG file is a file catalog created and used by CD / DVD Spindle Search, a plug-in for Google Desktop Search. It contains a list of files stored on a user's CDs or DVDs. Google Desktop Search users can use Spindle Search and CATALOG files to search for files that are not stored on their computer.
